Emissions Reduction Targets
IFC is targeting a 25% reduction in emissions by 2030 through operational efficiencies, reduced fuel usage, and smarter resource management. This includes minimising unnecessary travel, reducing material waste, and ongoing use of low-emission vehicles.
Carbon Reduction Projects
In 2024, IFC opted to switch to alternative fuel vehicles, significantly reducing direct emissions. Business travel is limited, and remote meetings are encouraged where possible. The business operates on a zero-carbon electricity tariff and monitors water usage to limit waste. Further measures under review include participation in group carbon audits under AMCCS and extending energy-efficient practices across all premises.
Declaration and Sign-Off
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 06/21 and its technical standard. Emissions have been estimated using UK government conversion factors. The plan has been approved at board level.
